From Camera to Print: A Workflow Solution

Class will cover simple workflow from photographing the image to final print. We
will cover how to get the images from the camera to a final copy CD of images and files for each job or project. You will also learn how to add important Metadata to each image so that you can quickly search large folders of images to find just the right one.

• Best way of getting images out of the camera
• How to setup folders for best workflow
• Backups so you can sleep at night
• Editing your images painlessly
• Global vs. Local processing
• Color correcting a group of images
• Proofing for clients
• Sending images to the lab and how to make sure they do it right

Students should have a basic understanding of both Photoshop and Bridge.
This is a hands on computer class so seating is limited. You are encouraged
to bring in a folder of images on CD or your camera card with card reader.
Workbooks will be provided for this class.
