Evocative Portraits with Tom Bol
Course Description:
Learn what goes into making a strong portrait and goes beyond the standard shot. The class will look at various lighting styles,
locations and posing. We will discuss techniques such as creating separation, the one light shot and establishing rapport with your
subject. Students will learn to use studio strobes with a variety of lighting tools; we will have models on hand to photograph during
the afternoon. Tom will discuss how to create portraits that match your creative ideas. If you shoot high school portraits, families,
seniors or commercial this class is perfect to broaden your portrait skills.
