a Docent, you meet a variety
of interesting visitors
who are photographers,
visual artists in other
media and who have a genuine
interest in talking about
the art of photography.
Regardless
of their level of knowledge
about the art of photography,
Docents who enjoy people
make the best representatives
and enjoy coming back
frequently.
Exhibitions
Assistants
Without
the help Exhibition Assistants
the Center would be unable
to host its many exhibitions.
Exhibition
Assistants help with the
installation and de installation
of the exhibitions under
the guidance of the Center's
curatorial staff.
Installations typically
require about 16 hours,
or 4 people working together
for approximately 4 hours.
De installation takes
about the same amount
of time to remove the
artwork from the walls
and to carefully pack
it for shipping.
Others
The Center
periodically requires
assistance for remodeling
projects, computer network
management, office tasks
assistance and a variety
of other functions. If
