OPEN THEME | Portfolio ShowCase 10
Each submitted portfolio is evaluated as a cohesive body of work. One artist will be selected to receive the $3,000 ShowCase Award and a solo exhibition at C4FAP. Ten photographers will be chosen to have their twelve-image portfolios published in the Center’s Portfolio ShowCase eBook. There will be an accompanying online exhibition with links to artist’s websites. In addition, two selected images from each artist will be exhibited at The Center for Fine Art Photography in the Portfolio ShowCase Group Exhibition.
JUROR | Hannah Frieser
Hannah Frieser is the Executive Director of the Center for Photography at Woodstock (CPW). Hannah served as director of Light Work for almost nine years. Prior to this, she worked for the Society for Photographic Education (SPE) for over a decade. She has reviewed portfolios and juried exhibitions worldwide for PhotoVisa, Critical Mass, FotoFest, and Rhubarb Rhubarb, among others, and is a frequent lecturer on photography and contemporary photographic practices.
HONORS | AWARDS
The juror will choose 10 artist’s portfolios. Chosen artist’s work will be exhibited before an international audience of collectors, curators, art consultants, and other advocates of fine art photography. Participants will be included in the Center’s online exhibition, in-gallery exhibition and have their work Included in the Portfolio ShowCase10 eBook.
ShowCase Award: One artist will be awarded $3000 and given a solo exhibition at the Center for Fine Art Photography.
Portfolio ShowCase Group Exhibition: Two selected images from each artist will be exhibited at The Center for Fine Art Photography in the Portfolio ShowCase Group Exhibition.
In addition artists’ selected for the exhibition will also receive:
Invitation to the exhibition reception weekend with complimentary portfolio reviews with the Juror and the Executive Director, lunch and portfolio sharing
Artist Promotion on C4FAP’s large social media platforms.
Professional installation images for your use.

SUBMISSION | ENTRY FEE
MEMBERS: $49 per portfolio (up to 12 images). More than one portfolio submission can be purchased.
NON-MEMBERS: $59 per portfolio (up to 12 images) More than one portfolio submission can be purchased.
Additional portfolios may be submitted. Applicants signing up for membership at the time they submit will receive the automatic discounted entry fee.
Image Upload Guidelines
All images are securely submitted online via our website. To submit images visit our home page and create a free account or Login to your existing account to begin. Further instructions are available in the Calls for Entry Section of our website.
Eligibility: Our calls for entry are open to all photographers world wide, both amateur and professional. The Center invites photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate. All Photographic genres, capture types and photographic processes are eligible to submit.
Exhibit Prints: In order to be included in the online gallery or to receive an award, you must provide a professionally printed and presented image for gallery exhibition. The Center recognizes that some work is non-traditional and the presentation type is integral to the work. Colorful frames must be pre-approved. To encourage participation by photographers from around the world, the Center offers optional, professional, printing and framing services. Additional details provided upon request.
Acceptance Notice: Everyone who submits will receive an email notification of which images were accepted. Accepted images will be posted on the Center’s website.
USE RIGHTS: Each artist retains all copyrights to their own images. Artist’s recognition is provided with any use. By submission for jurying, artists whose submissions are chosen for the exhibition grant The Center for Fine Art Photography the right to use their images for the purpose of promoting exhibitions, promoting the Center’s programs, promoting the artist and subsequent display on the Center’s website of current and past exhibitions. Promotions and images may also be placed on social networks for The Center for Fine Art Photography with artist credit. Artists grant the use of their image(s) as stated without further contact or compensation from the Center. These rights are created so the Center can promote artists.
