Art Photography celebrated
the opening of its
new gallery with a
special exhibition
honoring the Fine Art
of Photojournalism.
The exhibition featured
the work of photojournalists
working for many of
the daily and weekly
newspapers along the
Front Range of Colorado.

Museum of Contemporary
Art (MOCA) Main and
Mezzanine Galleries
in Fort Collins, Colorado.
The exhibition ran
from June 29 through
August 21, 2004.
The
exhibition presented
127 works by 123 artists
from 11 countries.
Juried by nationally
recognized Mary Virginia
Swanson, she stated
"the exhibited
work demonstrated the
extensive variety of
processes, subjects
and treatments that
gifted photographers
incorporate in their
creative works."
The entries were open
to both professional
and amateur photographers,
for all forms of fine
art photography created
in black and white
or color, using traditional
or digital methods
or elements of both.
