The Art of Digital Imagery

Open worldwide to amateur and professionals, working with traditional or digital photography, or combinations of both.

Theme: The Art of Digital Imagery –The intent of this exhibition is to showcase photographic art created through the digital process. All images must be printed using any of the various digital printing processes. Therefore, traditional darkroom printed images are not eligible for this exhibition. Images must be derived from scanned positives (slides) or negatives, images created with digital cameras, images derived from scanners, and any other digital means.

The exhibition awards opportunities for artists to present their work to an international audience of collectors, curators, art consultants and others who appreciate the fine art of photography.

  • Juror's Selection: New HP Prosmart B9180 Fine Art Printer + Special recognition in Artists' ShowCase
  • Director's Selection: Special Recognition in Artists' ShowCase + $200
  • Two Artists’ ShowCase Online subscriptions – the Center’s new online image marketing website (preview at www.artists-showcase.org)
  • Five or more prints will be selected for inclusion in the Center's publication, Artists' ShowCase, the feature section in CameraArts magazine
  • All exhibitors are included in the Center's online gallery
  • Inclusion in the Center's 2007 Exhibition Collection CD which is distributed to selected galleries, collectors,
    design houses and corporations world wide

Entry Fees

  • The entry fee for non members is $35.00 UD for the first three images.
  • The entry fee for members of The Center for Fine Art Photography is $20.00 USD for 3 images.
  • Applicants signing up for membership at the time they submit their work for jurying may become a member and meet the entry fee for a total of $65.00 USD. Membership includes annual subscription to CameraArts magazine, eligibility to sell work on the Artists’ ShowCase Online and other benefits listed on the Center’s website.
  • Additional images may be submitted for $10 each. There is no limit to the number of images that may be submitted.

Important Dates:

  • Entries due January 16, 2007
  • January 29, 2007 : Notification of acceptance
  • February 23, 2007: Exhibition opening
  • March 2, 2007: Public reception for artists
  • March 24, 2007: Exhibition closes
