Calls for Entry -Mind's Eye - The Center for Fine Art Photography

Theme: The camera is the photographer’s medium to express his observations and interactions in response to the world, in which he lives, in the way he wishes to portray it. The images selected for this exhibition will provide viewers with exciting opportunities to see what is reflected from the eye of the photographer. There are no subject restrictions for this exhibition.

Eligibility: The exhibition is open to all domestic and international, professional and amateur photographers working with digital or traditional photography or combinations of both. The Center for Fine Art Photography invites photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate in its exhibitions. Traditional, contemporary, avant-garde, creative and experimental and mixed techniques are welcome.

Juror: Christopher Rauschenberg

Christopher Rauschenberg was a co-founder and president of Photo Americas (a major photography festival in Portland, Oregon, now called Photolucida) and is currently a board member. A photographer, educator and author of three photography books, Rauschenberg is also a co-founder and co-director of Blue Sky Gallery, an internationally respected non-profit photography gallery in Portland. Rauschenberg has had 86 solo shows of his own work in 6 countries and has also acted as a co-curator, as well as co-producer of 640 solo exhibitions and 46 group shows at Blue Sky over the last 33 years. Rauschenberg has also produced and edited over 60 art and photography publications.

With selection for this exhibition, the Center’s many artists and their work will be exposed to an international audience of collectors, curators, art consultants, the media and others who appreciate and acquire fine art of photography.
