Images must be
from the same body
of work. The images
will be evaluated
as a body of work,
rather than as
individual images.
Juror:
Michael Mazzeo
Since founding
Peer Gallery, Michael
has been invited
to review artists’
portfolios numerous
organizations,
including the 2007
Photolucida Conference.
This year alone,
Peer has awarded
solo exhibitions
to four photographers
introduced to him
at these events
and many other
artists have been
included in recent
group shows at
the gallery.
The Center for
Fine Art Photography
invites photographers
working in all
mediums,
styles and schools
of thought to participate
in this exhibition.
Traditional, contemporary,
avant-garde, creative
and experimental
works that include
old and new processes,
mixed techniques,
and challenging
personal, emotional
or political statements
are welcome.
The exhibition
is open to all
professional and
amateur photographers
working with digital
or traditional
photography or
combinations of
both.
Note:
The selected
images will be
shown matted, but
not framed. The
Center will provide
the glass for over
the matted images
Awards:
All exhibitions
provide opportunities
for artists to
present their work
to an international
audience of collectors,
curators, art consultants
and others who
appreciate the
fine art of photography.
- Twelve (12 ) photographers
will be chosen
to exhibit their
eight image body
of work during
this special
exhibition.
- Juror’s
Selection award:
$500, and inclusion in an online exhbition by the Peer Gallery
- Director's
Selection award:
$300
- Gallery
Visitor's Choice
Award: $100
- All
twelve photographer’s
will receive a
1-year subscription
to Artists’
ShowCase Online,
the Center’s
online image marketing
website (preview
at www.artists-showcase.org).
If already
a subscriber,
the subscription
will be extended
an additional
year.
