Photoshop Techniques: For Portrait Photographers

Course Description: A non-traditional approach of using Photoshop to give your portraiture a professional edge.

Course Objectives:

• Enhancing hair
• Whitening teeth
• Softening skin
• Removing blemishes
• Enhancing eyes
• Body sculpting

**If time permits, additional topics may be covered.**

Prerequisites for Photoshop Courses, other than Photoshop Basic

• In order that the class be productive for all, it is important that those attending
  other than Photoshop Basic have a working familiarity with the following essential Photoshop tools.

• Understand the basic functions of the Tools Pallet items: Move, Marquee and Lasso
   selection, Cropping, Clone Stamp, Dodge and Burn, Eye Dropper and the Brush tool.

• Layers: Be able to create layers and adjustable layers, move and flatten layers

• Levels and Curves

• Image Size: changing image dimensions and resolution

The class will be held in Fort Collins. Class size is limited to sign up early.
Instructor will provide images for editing.

• Adobe Photoshop is a vast program with a variety of ways to achieve the
same effects. This class will focus on the instructor’s non-traditional methods.
